I think arranged marriages should not happen in any society but even if they exist, women and men should socialize, they must work together, share ideas, etc...
Men and Women are different and that is why they should complement each other, whether in work, family or society.
I think that women role in Indian society undermines its development. Women acting proactively will bring new ideas and innovations.
Men and Women should be treated equal because it's fair and because it is a question of well being. Women's ideas have to be welcome since they mean more productivityand progress.
